Designed by Mario Ferrarini, the Velis 942/PLA lounge armchair is characterized by its sophisticated architectural relationship between its solid wood structure and upholstered body. The frame is masterfully crafted from solid ash wood or Canaletto walnut. A hallmark of this design is the exposed wooden joinery where the legs meet the seat, creating a structural perimeter that showcases the project's high-end woodworking expertise.

Top & Materials :
The armchair features a seat and a low backrest padded with fire-retardant polyurethane foam to ensure ergonomic support and safety. The upholstery is fully customizable using the Potocco collection's range of fabrics, leathers, or faux leathers. This model is also specifically available in a bi-material version, allowing for distinct material contrasts between the internal and external surfaces of the shell.

As a refined lounge seat, the Velis 942/PLA focuses on essential form and tactile comfort. Upholstery requirements for a single unit are approximately 1.45 m of fabric (at H 140 cm) or 2.70 m² of leather.
