Velis is a wide collection of seating thought to satisfy different demands.It explores and solves, at best, the relationship between the upholstery and the wood structure, defining the perfect integration between the parts, in an impeccable balance: legs and seat meet in a frame that, left visible, gives richness to the project.The Velis chair and small armchair are padded in fire retardant polyurethane foam with a solid ash wood or Canaletto walnut structure. Collection available also in the bi-material version.

Structure & Frame :
The Velis 942/PB dining armchair, designed by Mario Ferrarini, shares the core structural DNA of the Velis family. It is built with a base in solid ash wood or Canaletto walnut. This version is distinguished by its integrated armrests that emerge naturally from the wooden frame, maintaining the signature visible joint where the legs and the seat meet to provide a sense of artisanal richness.


Top & Materials :
The armchair features an enveloping shell padded with fire-retardant polyurethane foam. The upholstery options are extensive, covering the full Potocco catalog of fabrics and leathers. Like the side chair, the 942/PB can be specified in a bi-material configuration, allowing designers to play with different colors or textures for a more dynamic look.


Shelves & Storage :
The 942/PB is designed to provide an enhanced sense of comfort and enclosure for long periods of sitting. Its design priorities are ergonomics and the quality of its structural materials. The clean, architectural silhouette remains free of any utility storage features, focusing instead on the masterfully executed wooden curves of the armrests.
