Designed by Mario Ferrarini, the Velis 942/DA sofa is a central piece of the wide Velis seating collection. The design explores the architectural relationship between upholstery and structure, featuring a base crafted from solid ash wood or Canaletto walnut. A signature detail is the visible wooden frame where the legs meet the seat, which remains exposed to confer richness and highlight the project's high-end craftsmanship.

Top & Materials :
The sofa features a seat and a low backrest padded with fire-retardant polyurethane foam to ensure safety and ergonomic comfort. The unit is highly customizable, available in the full range of Potocco fabrics, leathers, or faux leathers. It is also offered in a bi-material version, allowing for distinct material contrasts between the internal and external parts of the shell.

As a refined seating element, the Velis 942/DA focuses on aesthetic harmony and material research. The design maintains a rigorous and clean profile, emphasizing the continuous, fluid lines of the wooden frame and the soft volumes of the upholstery. The solid wood structure is available in various Ash stains (including Pure Natural, Moka, Carbon, Wengé, and Walnut) or Canaletto Walnut. Ash wood can also be stained in special colors like White, Cherry, Olive Green, or Bluette. Upholstering a single unit requires approximately 3.20 m of fabric (H 140 cm) or 7.50 m² of leather.
