The Velis 942/AS counter stool, designed by Mario Ferrarini, shares the core structural DNA of the Velis family. It is built with a base in solid ash wood or Canaletto walnut. This version maintains the signature visible joint where the legs and the seat meet to provide a sense of artisanal richness and structural integrity.

Top & Materials :
The counter stool features a shell padded with fire-retardant polyurethane foam. The upholstery options are extensive, covering the full Potocco catalog of fabrics and leathers. Like the barstool version, the 942/AS can be specified in a bi-material configuration, allowing designers to play with different colors or textures for the internal and external shell.

Shelves & Storage :
The 942/AS is designed to provide ergonomic support at counter height. Its design priorities are ergonomics and the quality of its structural materials, featuring a satin stainless steel footrest. The clean, architectural silhouette remains free of any utility storage features, focusing instead on the masterfully executed wooden curves.

The proportions of the 942/AS are tailored for lower surfaces, maintaining the collection's soft and welcoming presence. The contrast between the solid wood border and the generous padding creates a sophisticated, high-end look that bridges traditional craftsmanship and modern minimalism.
