Vela 698/A is the bar stool version of the Vela collection, featuring an agile structure made of painted metal tube with elegant sled legs. Designed for durability and vertical seating, it maintains the family's "perfect synthesis between design and craftsmanship". Like other members of the collection, it is engineered to be horizontally stackable for efficient storage in hospitality environments.


Top & Materials:
The seat and backrest are characterized by a sophisticated handmade weaving that constitutes the unique character of the piece. This artisanal detail is available in high-performance nautical cord or PVC rope designed for outdoor durability.


Shelves & Storage:
As a high-seating element for bars, this model does not include integrated shelves. Its primary functional storage feature is its stackability, allowing units to be nested together horizontally to clear floor space in bars or terraces.


Design & Aesthetic:
Designed by Hannes Wettstein, the Vela 698/A represents a modern dialogue between industrial metalwork and traditional hand-weaving. The aesthetic is defined by the contrast between the slender, rigid trajectories of the metal frame and the soft, textured pattern of the woven cord.


Functionality & Placement:
This stool is specifically engineered for outdoor use, utilizing an anthracite or white embossed painted metal structure to withstand atmospheric agents. It is ideal for high-bar counters in residential gardens, poolside bars, or luxury hospitality settings.
