Structure & Frame:

Designed by Chiara Andreatti, the Sen collection is inspired by the design of traditional Japanese rice paper doors (Shoji). The storage units feature a frame in solid ash wood. The distinctive aesthetic is defined by the interweaving of solid wood grids applied to sliding doors. The base consists of ash wood legs and guides in Aval painted metal.

Top & Materials:

The volumes are crafted from ash wood, while the sliding doors are made of tempered glass, available in either bronze or transparent finishes. These glass surfaces serve as the backing for the decorative wooden grids, creating a visual play of transparency and shadow.

Shelves & Storage:

The interior space is thoughtfully organized to provide functional storage:
Sideboard (886/MB): Features a central shoulder that divides the interior space into two sections.Cabinet (886/M): Equipped with three shelves in ash wood.Compact Cabinet (886/MA): Includes one shelf in ash wood.
The sliding doors allow for easy access to items while maintaining a clean, architectural look.

Design & Aesthetic:

The collection is characterized by "visually lightened" volumes. By using the grid motif, the designer replaces the traditional paper of Shoji doors with glass, merging oriental inspiration with contemporary Italian craftsmanship. The result is an elegant, geometric silhouette that conceals and reveals the interior contents simultaneously.

Functionality & Placement:

This collection is versatile and designed to meet various spatial needs. The different sizes make it suitable for living rooms, dining areas, or hallways. The newer, intermediate size (886/M) is specifically intended for more compact spaces without sacrificing the collection's signature elegance.
