The Lyz swivel dining chair (Model 918/GCI) is characterized by a central cone swivel base in embossed painted metal. The upper structure is built with solid ash wood, serving as the "skeleton" on which the upholstery is developed. This specific base variant includes a return mechanism, which automatically realigns the chair to its original position.



Top & Materials :

The seat and backrest are padded with fire-retardant polyurethane foam. A defining feature of the "I" variant is the fully upholstered seat, though it belongs to a collection that also offers versions with a visible solid ash wood detail at the base of the seat. The chair can be finished in any of the collection's fabrics or leathers.

As a refined dining chair, the 918/GCI focuses on ergonomic comfort and material relationship. The design allows the tailored upholstery to be visible from every angle of the seat, integrated into the ash wood frame to highlight the brand's skillful woodworking.

Designed by Mario Ferrarini, the Lyz family is a study of the "mutual relationship" between wood and other materials. The cone base adds a modern, sculptural element to the chair's silhouette, contrasting the industrial metal with the organic warmth of the solid ash structure.
